“Grateful” is not just a word. It is a state of the heart. It is when you realize that someone has done good for you, helped you, or given you an opportunity - and within you arises a warm feeling of respect, a response from the heart. I am grateful that I met wonderful people who saw me not as disabled, but first and foremost as a human being. I thank Hug for Heroes for giving me this opportunity.
